Planning your engagement session


All of my full day wedding coverage includes an engagement session. This is my FAV part. We get to officially meet in person, you get to know my shooting style, and we get to chat about all things you. Being in front of the camera requires a lot of vulnerability, so I love taking this time to make sure you're comfortable before your wedding day. & we can literally do anything. Coffee date, museum stroll, surf sesh, beach pizza date, you name it.

When I say that I'm here to help, I mean it. I will be your friend every step of the way. I pride myself on speedy and helpful communication. Need help on what to wear for your engagement session? I work together with you or your wedding planner to construct a in-depth timeline for your day. I give recommendations for how much time I need to get the best photos (the more creative we want to be, the more time we will need). My goal is to make your day as stress free as possible while allowing us the space needed to capture those perfect moments.

During your wedding day I will step in and give guidance when needed, I will tell you what to do with your hands, I will fluff your dress, but I mostly step back and just document your moments. I aim to always be there, but never be in the way. I want you to feel present for your memories, have the time of your life, and not feel like you have "get a photo" every 5 seconds.

I write all of your photographs on to 2 different cards, and after your wedding I immediately go home and store all of your photos to 2 separate hard drives. This ensures that all of your photos will stay safe! I will send sneak peek photos within 72 hours because I know you're so excited to share with friends and family. You will receive your full gallery in 8 weeks via electronic gallery delivery. You have full access to high resolution downloads - and your guests will as well! You get 1 year of free cloud storage for your gallery, so you have plenty of time to print and view them. If you purchased a package that includes an album, we will get together to custom design your perfect heirloom piece.
